What is electric smog?

The person has created during the past years a huge number of artificial springs of magnetic and electric fields and waves. For example, mobile phones, mains appliances, wireless networks (WLAN), television sets and also cordless phones. These fields and waves show a sort of environmental pollution which is called electric smog.

How does electric smog affect the person?

The waves load our body and disturb our well-being. One calls the biological effect on the body electric stress. Because to itself by the more and more frequent use from  raising to electric machines the radiation steadily, more and more people react sensitively to electric smog. Electric smog does not release immediately an illness, but constant electric stress offers the fertile soil for illnesses.

Magnet metallic pieces of furniture (e.g., metal beds) the natural fields surround us, the earth magnetic field distort. The resultant fields also penetrate our body. A possible influencing can be a disturbance in the irritant management system. The result can be heart rhythm disturbances.

Also sockets and junction boxes cause electric smog. They build up an electric change field. If we are in such a change field movable load bearers freely resonate in the body with this field. This can influence, e.g., the Melatonin-synthesis. The result of it are sleeping disturbances.

Electric smog affects the whole residential climate. Thus gets worse by raised electric smog the quality of the space air. The more the body with air pollutants must fight, the higher there rises the danger of an illness.

What are electric smog reduced / electric smog free rooms?

At the hotel Helvetia are four ecological comfort rooms electric smog free and the rooms of the first floor are electric smog reduced. These rooms show with its especially weak anomalies (irregularities) and you sleep here in an undisturbed sphere. The electric smog reduction allows a deep healthy sleep to many people.

We have reached the reduction by means of “Netzabkopplern” in the fuse boxes. These "couple" the circuit from the net, as soon as all electric machines are switched off in the room. Connect a machine again, the circuit is continued automatically again. In addition, in four ecological comfort rooms a graphite paint was applied as the priming on the walls which guards electric waves. These rooms are thereby protected even better.

Television and phone in electric smog reduced / electric smog free rooms?

In the electric smog free ecological comfort rooms there is no television. The electric smog reduced  rooms dispose - like all the other guest-rooms also - of a television and a phone. So that the “Netzabkoppler” can interrupt the circuit, nevertheless, the stand By company must be switched off in the television also (about the tilting counter). The phones are all string-engaged with us and, hence, cause no electric smog. You simply switch off your mobile phone if you do not need it. We recommend to use the mobile phone only on the day, because, besides, sleep annoying electric smog is produced.

Why electric smog reduced / electric smog free rooms at the hotel?

As a bio-hotel we place the highest value of your health and your well-being. At the hotel it depends particularly on a restful sleep. Here, finally, you are on vacation whose aim is own rest. Too much electric smog in the sleeping area can cause permanent stress. Therefore, we would like to avoid this and have resolved to reduce electric smog. Who thinks highly of his health, is exactly right in our house.

Is the reduction provable?

Yes, we plan the electric smog soiling and after the application of the “Netzabkoppler” of the company ÖKOWELL allow to test. The measuring results are different in every room and are on the notice board in the rooms to the view. The defined aim of the "low frequency" was achieved.

For the measurement not only the space in itself plays a role. Also next-door rooms and nearby should influence the measuring result. The favorable situation of our hotel with sufficient distance to the mast leads to a weak anomaly. This is hardly posible in Germany.

Why only one floor?

We plan to reduce for the future also in other areas at the hotel electric smog. With the first floor and four ecological comfort rooms (from which two are on the second floor) merely the beginning is put.

However, they do not need to fear that the other rooms are "flooded" at the hotel with electric smog. Here you will find string phones and you have the possibility to switch off the television completely in all rooms. You can switch off your mobile phone also if you want.
